Provolone is a firm cheese, cream to yellow in colour with a texture similar to Mozzarella. However, the taste of Provolone cheese grows stronger with age. This product is a smaller variation of our Provolone products.
This cheese is wonderful served with antipasto, olives, deli meats or wedges of melon. In the kitchen this cheese is delicious on pizza, pasta and on sandwiches.

    Do you want your homemade pizza to be plain and ordinary? Then use mozzarella cheese only. Want your pizza flavor to sing? Then use:
    1/3 Mozzarella
    1/3 Provolone
    1/3 Pecorino
    This provolone is the soft creamy type, not the sharper flavor you get when it is aged more. It comes sliced, bundled and vacuum sealed.
    It’s part of my standard order from Johnny Prosciutto.
